Sarushima Island

Sarushima Island
(Also known as Monkey Island)

Sarushima does not have any monkeys, despite it's name.

Y1200 for a ferry ride from Mikasa Park to the island, kids are free up to a certain age.

The beach is made up of mostly broken sea shells, so be careful!

It's a great place to go with the family or with a large group of friends!

There is a little general store, but no food stands. 

Grills are provided, but they get taken up fairly quickly.

We can see Sarushima from the base, which always makes for gorgeous pictures.

I'm hoping we'll be able to get out there again soon.  As well as visiting Yokohama, Tokyo and of course...

MOUNT FUJI!!!
